~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

Double Baptism

We were invited to a baptism today for two super cute cousins.
We had to make them little towels, these two cute cousins love
each other so much, spend a lot of time together but couldn't be
more different.  They are setting a wonderful example for their
families by being baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter~Day Saints.
It was so nice to sit and listen to the sweet
talks on baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost.  To feel the spirit
testify to me that this is the true Church.  I sat there with tears
as I recalled my daughters being baptized and how sweet their
testimonies are today.  So glad to be a member of this
Church and receive so many blessings in my life.

Baptism Towel

My sweet little niece was getting baptized and
I had searched and searched for something
cute, unique, and practical to send her. Living in
town with no church bookstore makes it hard.
I was wasting time one morning when I should have
been doing something like....cleaning!!
When I came across my friend Ramanda's blog and
she had made this super cute towel for her nephews baptism.
I checked out her tutorial and couldn't get my copy big enough
so I called for HELP!!
So glad I did!! She invited me over, gave me her copy, the iron
on backing I would need and let me pick from her material!!
She promised it would be easy!!
It was!!! I had it finished by the time school was out
and in the mail by 4!!
I wish I knew about this for the other sweet little
family members that have already been baptized.

Cute poem that goes with it.
