~Feeling Blue

We have found some great hair color for the girls to play with that makes them happy.  I am happy with it because washes out!  The girls love it.  We have red, blue, pink and purple. Today was a blue day and a big hit with Jolene and several of her friends.  

~Hair Fun

The girls got a package of rainbow colored hair chalk for Christmas.  We used pink, blue, and green in Raychel's hair today.  She loved it!  It looked great with her blonde hair.  Her friends loved it along with Jolene.  She was so excited to go to school and show her friends.  The best part of the color it that is washes out.

I really enjoy this habit the girls and I have every night. We brush out Raychel's hair and then put it in a braid. She has long, thick curly hair that can get pretty tangled by morning. We started doing this years ago. We brush it out while someone reads the scriptures, or someone is downloading from the day, or someone is being tickled or wrestled with. I get to brush it out and Jolene has started braiding it. She has gotten much better. She gets so excited when she does it tight enough that Raychel will leave it in and not have me redo it.

~Fun Hair~

Our favorite hair stylist moved in December, so the girls and I went to a good friend this month to get hair cuts. I noticed on her face book page that she was doing these super fun and cute feather hair extensions. The girls have been asking for over a year if they could get colored highlights. And every time they ask the answer was no. I thought these little extensions would be fun and they are not permanent! They love them!!! They had so much fun picking out which ones they wanted. She has so many to pick from all kinds of color combinations to fall in love with. They both helped each other pick them out so the next time we go in they can trade with each other.
