~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

The End Of Soccer

Tonight soccer came to an end.
It was a great game, they played one of the teams
we had heard was a hard team to beat, well,
we won!!!!
Our kids couldn't have been more excited!! After the game
our coach had a little pizza party for the team at the park, along
with treat, drinks and of course the medals!
I think once that medal was placed around Jolene's neck
she was hooked, she was playing again so she could get another medal.
It was a great little season, through all the weather changes that
we experience here in the Colorado mountains to the
changes that took place in Jolene,
the season was a hit!

More soccer

Watching Jolene play soccer from week to week is
like watching another child, she had really improved over
the last month. She isn't afraid of the kids as much as she use to be.
She didn't like getting the middle to get the ball, she was afraid she
would get kick or pushed, but this game I actually saw my
little Jolene get caught in the middle and push to get the ball!!
WAY TO GO!!!

Soccer Game

It has been so much fun to watch Jolene grow during the
season. She has gotten more aggesive and really learned
to enjoy the sport. She said she wants to play in the fall.

Spring Soccer

Don't let the sunshine in these pictures fool you,
it was really cold the first day of Spring soccer!
The sun was nice but the wind we could have done without!
Jolene has loved soccer for several years now. I'm
not sure what the attraction is for her, but she does.
Last year I missed the cut off for sign ups, so this year
I could not make the same mistake twice. She was
so happy to hear she was playing on a team!
I hope she can
learn sportsmanship,
how to lose gracefully,
how to be more aggressive
and just have fun!
