~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

~Happy Thanksgiving

After we got home from shooting the girls put together puzzles while Ward and I finished dinner.  The house smelt so good!  I love Thanksgiving!  It is my favorite holiday.  It is the only holiday where no gifts are required, just love, gratitude and kindness. We played games, ate lots, watched movies and just relaxed since Ward will have to go to work in the morning.

 The love of my life!!!!

~Thanksgiving 2011~

Happy Thanksgiving!
What a great day. We cooked the turkey then headed to Sterling's for dinner. What a great day. It was us, them and Brynn's in-laws. We had a wonderful dinner, lots to eat!!! Visited while the kids played games and visited some more. I love this time of year when we see family and have time to just visit, laugh and eat. It doesn't happen to often with all the kids schedules and work. Today was perfect.

~Happy Thanksgiving~

Happy Thanksgiving!!
We had a really nice day. Ward and Drake
got up super early and went duck hunting, they
came home happy with stories of success, and
very cold. We had to get a picture of Drake and the
ice hanging around his neck. He was so tired he was
able to spend the day inside on his blanket, sleeping!
We had a wonderful meal, took naps, played games and
had a Wii challenge going. I am so grateful for my little
family and the love we share. I look at each one of them
and I get so overwhelmed with love for them. I can't thank
my Heavenly Father enough for the life he has allowed me
to live. The older I get the more thankful I am for my blessings.
I have more then I can count, my family is always
number one! I love them more then they could ever know.

Happy Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving got off to a rough start.
It actually started at 4:45 Am when
Jolene came in our room with
a tummy ache!! Yep, the flu!!
She was sick from 4:45am until 8:30am
After that she just laid around.

The rest of us enjoyed the "meal" before
the meal!! Yummy veggies and dip, chips and of
course our favorite Artichoke dip!! The turkey looks great, and it
tasted sooooo good!!

Ever since Raychel was 18 months old and
Grandpa Joel handed her the drum stick, it has
become a tradition to have the girls
eat the drumsticks and they love it!!
Grandpa may not be with us, but
his tradition lives on!!

Even with a tummy ache
Jolene couldn't miss the yearly
picture with the drum stick!!Raychel loves pumpkin pie and
wanted to make it by herself
this year! I gladly turned the tradition
over to her!!Jolene and I made the apple pie the night
before and there is Raychel's pumpie pie!
YUMMY!!

School day

I had a great day at school with Jolene!!
I got there in time to play with her and Jackie
at recess!!
The kids posed themselves then asked
me to take their pictures!! In front of the Tepee,
a great Thanksgiving prop.

Big friend hugs!!

Craft time!!
Busy working...
on a Thanksgiving place mat with
Indian art work.So proud!!!
Hugs to last the long
Thanksgiving break.
