Dress Up

I know Jolene had much more fun playing dress up with 

Ella then Ella did getting dresses up. 

Cozy

Even Ella wants to be warm.  

It has been so cold with so much

snow and dark cloudy days. 

 Ella crawled under this blanket then

crawled out just enough to stay under the blanket to get warm. 

Rainbow Loom Bracelets

Jolene got a loom bracelet kit for Christmas and has been

enjoying making bracelets for everyone who wants one, or not,

she even made one for Ella.  I'm not sure Ella as happy about

it as her friends, but she get to wear it anyway.

 

Good Morning

This morning after I woke Jolene up Ella came

waltzing in the room jumped on the bed, curled up next to

her and went to sleep.

Jolene loved it! 

 

~Relaxing~

Who wants to pay the bills, right a grocery list, or

a menu when you have this snuggled on your lap?

Not me!

 

~Cat Walk

It has been a beautiful day.  We took Raychel

to track practice and Jolene wanted to

take the dog on a walk when she quickly

remembered that last time we tired that

he was to much for us to control.  So

she tired the jump rope around

Ella, and took her for a walk

around the yard.  They both were

in heaven.

Simple Joy

~Snow

So much snow.  I think even Ella has had enough and

found a cozy place to sleep until it melts away.

So lazy!  The hard life of a cat.

Ella loved napping in the

bean bag chair today.

It was so funny watching

her try to walk on it without

sinking into the middle.

~Lunch

While I was fixing Raychel lunch,

Ella thought wanted it for herself.

~Lazy Days

Jolene found the best way to spend the morning,

eating cookies, watching a movie with a

sleeping cat in your arms.

~Warmth

Ella loves to be warm.  She is always on or just about under a blanket any time of day.  Tonight Raychel was   a little cool so she turned on the heating pad then placed blanket over herself.  Not to much time had past when Ella pawed her way under the blanket, and curled up under Raychel's legs and went to sleep.  It wasn't until Raychel started to get up for bed we found Ella.  She wasn't to happy to be exposed.  

~Nap Time

Jolene came home from school so tired she ended up taking a nap along with all her animals including Ella, who has yet to pass up a nap when a blanket is involved.  

~Stuck~

The girls and I have never laughed as hard as we did when we saw the cat stuck between the sliding door and the screen door. Our cat, Ella, is an inside only cat. She tires her hardest to get outside, if she is around when a door comes open she will walk real slowly toward it hoping not to draw any attention her way, she runs to all the open windows and will sit there for a moment them run to the next open window. She loves to sit by the sliding door when the screen is shut. Today the wind was blowing pretty hard which blew our neighbors leaves into and around our yard. Ella was going crazing running back and forth watching the leaves. We were getting ready to leave and I went to shut the sliding door when I saw Ella stuck between the shut screen door and the opened sliding door. She couldn't turn around and when she backed up she couldn't turn her bottom end to come out. It was so funny. She was super mad when we let her out as if it was our fault she was there. I don't think she will try that again anytime soon!!

Grasshopper and a Cat

We got home from Denver late, we were

all tired from our great day!! Jolene took her blankets

she had in the van to her room to get her bed ready,

when out jumped a grasshopper!! I am afraid to say, but

I have pass on my fear of grasshoppers to her. She screamed

as we have NEVER heard her scream. She came running in to our

room very shaken up!! Ward was our hero!! He went in her room found

the stowaway and then.....Ella say it!!

playing and tormenting this grasshopper!!

again!!!
And just in case your wondering,
NO we did not let her eat it in the house,
it went for a "swim."
