~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

~Mother's Day

What a great Mother's Day weekend.
I love to be out in the garden, so everyone bought me
more flowers to add to my flower garden.  I love all
the new plants, colors and the smells!  Then of course we
worked in the veggie garden.
Sunday morning the girls gave me their more
personal gifts.  Both of them gave me cards that
made me cry, they have a way with words.  Jolene
gave me a jar with all the ingredients to make
homemade soup.
I love being a mother.  I am so grateful for these
two precious young ladies I get to teach and learn from.

~May Day

Happy May Day!
The flowers are starting to
grow in the garden. It is a wonderful sight
after our long winter.  After I got home
from getting the girls today from their
many activities there were flowers in
a little basket on the front door handle for
May Day, it is nice to be thought of in such
a thoughtful way.

~Winter Garden

I am so ready for Spring.  I am
tired of looking at the garden with
no color.  Jolene and I can't wait
to get in dirt, plant flowers and enjoy
Spring.

Flower Beds

I love cool Saturday mornings! After a good walk
I usually end up in the flower beds. There is something
about working with these tiny flowers that is very
relaxing and satisfying. These last 2 years it
seems Jolene and has the need to be with the
flowers as well.
She woke up and came outside not very happy
I had started without her!!
Can you see the bee, they were busy working as well.
We were both very excited to see the lilies had
come up since last week!!
Like mother like daughter
Thanks Raychel for capturing our moment in
the garden.
