~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

~Sisters

Raychel brought me the camera and wanted me to take
her picture because she thought she looked "good" today.
I love this girls confidence.
While I was taking her picture Jolene had been outside feeding the bunny and
the guinea pigs. We have had the bunny, Thumper, for 2 years not to  mention he had
been a school pet for at least 4 years and nobody knows where before that. He is getting
pretty old and tonight he was acting strange that worried Jolene.  She set a stool next to his cage,
rubbing him, talking softly to him, telling him how much so loved him and how so wanted him
to live longer.  She couldn't hold the tears back when she came in to get reassurance
that he would be alright.  Ward put a little space heater out by the cages to make
sure he would have a warm nights sleep.  When she came in Raychel sat with
her and reassured her he would be fine.
I admire the bond these two share.  They have a way
of reassuring each other when they need it the most.

~Outdoor Fun

The sun felt so good today.  I think we have made it
through the winter deep freeze.  Jolene was conviced she
needed to get her bike out.  She was so happy to be
on her bike.  It makes me laugh the simple joys
that make her smile.

~Aspen

We had a wonderful day in Aspen today.  Ward had several workers
he needed to check on so we all went along.  While we waited we played
racketball, walked around the property, went to a wonderful
resturant downtown,  then came home.  The resturant was different from
anything we have ever been to.  Ward's boss recommended it for us.
We tried new menu items, which were a little scary but wonderful!
What a wonderful day full of memories.

~Juice

I don't know about your kids, but mine don't eat enough
fruit and veggies.  I worry about this and was wishing I could
sneak it in on them, then I found juice they love with
fruit and veggies!!

~Snow

It has been awhile since we had a good snow storm, which came today!  It
started snowing this morning before the sun came up and kept on snowing throughout the
day, even when the sun had gone down. The one bad thing with the snow is the shoveling, I love having
a three car garage until the snow comes.  It was so pretty to watch the snow fall throughout
the day and into the even.  I am just glad we are all home safe, sound and warm.

Raychel wanted to make her favorite rainbow cake today for dessert after Family Home Evening.  She wanted to do it all by herself, so she did.  She is starting to get interested in baking and cooking.  She was so proud of her cake and it was really yummy!!

~Friends

We love no school on Fridays.  Today we had friends over.
The girls painted finger and toenails, made cookies,
watched movies, played wii, and laughed a lot.

~Feeling Blue

We have found some great hair color for the girls to play with that makes them happy.  I am happy with it because washes out!  The girls love it.  We have red, blue, pink and purple. Today was a blue day and a big hit with Jolene and several of her friends.

~Spotless

I wish I had remembered to take a before shot.  Trust me it was really bad gross!  It was embarrassing how messy the oven was.  I sprayed it then let it sit with the door closed until early evening.  It wiped clean so easily, I had to ask myself  "why did I take so long to clean the oven.?"
It looked to clean to use so we ate out.

~Warmth

Ella loves to be warm.  She is always on or just about under a blanket any time of day.  Tonight Raychel was   a little cool so she turned on the heating pad then placed blanket over herself.  Not to much time had past when Ella pawed her way under the blanket, and curled up under Raychel's legs and went to sleep.  It wasn't until Raychel started to get up for bed we found Ella.  She wasn't to happy to be exposed.

~Sunday Photo

After church today Ward and I went for a drive.  It was a beautiful day, the temperature was finally above freezing, a little.  We took the girls home and then went for a drive by the river.  We took a little walk to see the ducks and geese better.  It was so cool when the two geese took flight and joined up with two more.  What an amazing sight. Then down the road we came across a hear of Elk grazing in a field.  There were so many of  them.
