~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

~Holiday Concert

With the holidays comes the annual holiday music concert of schools.  All the elementary schools, along with the middle school and high schools sing and play Christmas music.  The students have worked so hard the past several weeks to perfect their performances.  Both of the girls performed.  Jolene has been singing in her school choir for the past couple of years, Raychel performed her last holiday performance as a middle schooler.  They all did a wonderful job.

~Cleaning

What do you think?
No they aren't new, they are just clean.  I have discovered how great it is to clean with vinegar!
I never knew it could be so easy.
I was reading on line and came across these cleaning ideas.

Place a bowl of water and vinegar in the microwave until it boils, the steam helps the mess
wipe off easier.

Fill the sink up to the very top with a cup of vinegar and hot water, let is sit for
about 30 minutes, drain, then wipe clean.  All the water spots are gone!

~Tree Decorating

I love this time of year.  Jolene and I set the tree up the other day and put the lights on so it would be ready to put the decorations on it tonight.  We ended up putting 1500 lights on the tree!  I love our tree.  Ward and I got this tree our first Christmas together.  I still love it as much today as I did that first time we put it up.  The magic of Christmas is the greatest feeling.  I love the excitement of watching the girls go through the ornaments, deciding where to put each one on the tree, the lights, the celebration, the joy and the love the magic brings to our home.

~Meat

This is my least favorite part of hunting, harvesting the meat.  I am grateful for all the meat, I just don't like touching it.  This little girl is the BEST, she loves this part.  Ward cuts the meat and she puts it through the grinder.  We ended up with a freezer full of elk burger, and I didn't  have to do any of it!

~Camera Fun

 I love my new camera.
I had fun taking close up shots of Ella and a few of the decorations.  I have always wanted to have the subject in focus and the background blurry, which is what this camera does.  It is going to be fun learning how to use this camera.

~Happy Thanksgiving

After we got home from shooting the girls put together puzzles while Ward and I finished dinner.  The house smelt so good!  I love Thanksgiving!  It is my favorite holiday.  It is the only holiday where no gifts are required, just love, gratitude and kindness. We played games, ate lots, watched movies and just relaxed since Ward will have to go to work in the morning.

 The love of my life!!!!

~Shooting

Happy Thanksgiving!
While diner as cooking we headed out to do a little shooting together.
Ward, and I shot at the clay pigeons, the girls shot at an old sign and some bottles.  The weather couldn't have been better.  I also got a new camera for my birthday, I had fun taking so many pictures of everything.  I had some great subjects all around me.  The scenery, the kids, the moon, and the dog. The girls had fun and are getting really good at shooting targets.
