~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

Fall Beauty

We took lots of walks and found some beautiful places to take pictures!!
The colors were amazing!! As beautiful as the pictures turned out
the real thing was still brighter!! It was an amazing trip!
The girls took the camera and had to get some shots of the
wild flowers. It is fun to see them appreciate the beauty of nature.
We decided Heavenly Father loves colors!!

An old beehive!! It was huge!

Raychel wanted a "serious" picture

Jolene wanted to climb the trees
no matter how big or small!!

Camping

Our family went camping the weekend of September 26-28!
We go to the same place, stay in the same cabin and
do anything we want!
We went fishing and had great success and lots of fun,
we took lots of walks, the girls rode their scooters while
we prepared meals, we read books, ate lots and
really enjoyed our time together as a family!!

Our Time

I really love the time I have with the girls in the mornings as we get ready.
During this time we talk about everything, the dreams they had that night
to their life dreams. The girls have practiced their ABC's, counted to 100, practiced
spelling words and even done a few math problems in the air and filled
me in on the happenings at school that slipped their minds the day before. They
have told me their fears, hopes, worries as we discuss life, the gospel, school and
every once in a while why boys are such a pain!! I love the mornings where I am
able to be the first influence in their day!! I cherish these days as they
get older and will want to do their own hair, I will have to get
creative and find new ways to have these great uninterrupted talks.

Until then

I will have to

keep coming up with

great hair ideas

and hope they continue to enjoy

this time like I do!

Sunday Beauties

Our Girls!

Family Cleaning Day

Let's go...FAST!!!Saturday was a family cleaning day, so we cleaned
the garage!! I know your thinking that's not fun, but it is.
The girls help load the back of the truck, sweep, play on the motor
cycle with Ward, we danced to the songs on the radio, then
after we we took our load to the dump we went
to lunch at Sonics and ended before the rain came.
Later that night while I was giving the girls a bath Raychel said, "this
was the best day!!" I asked her why and both girls
said, "it's fun working as a family, dancing, going to lunch
and spending time together!"
mission accomplished!!

Great Neighbors

I love our neighborhood!!

We have a great couple that live on one side of us with a beautiful vegetable garden and they share all the time. Then on the other side of us there is a great lady with several fruit trees and she shares all the time. Good thing Art is tall he was able to lift Jolene up to reach the beautiful fruit at the top of the tree. These great neighbors look out for us as if we
were their family. It makes being far
away
from home not seem so far!
