~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

The unplanned party

On the way out to golf I thought, poor Raychel. She has to spend most of the
day inside with dress rehearsal for the dance recital, my parents were going
to be in town, it was going to be a very busy next couple of weeks. When
would we have time to have a party for her??
Then it came to me, a VERY last minute
party after rehearsal tonight! I talked with the moms and made sure
their daughters could make it. I had mom pick up a cake, called Ward to let him
know the house and yard would be over run by girls when he got home from work.
It was perfect!! Her friends were able to come, they played games, ran around the yard,
ate cake, laughed until their tummies hurt, and played some more.
It was a great time. I am beginning to love last minute get togethers!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAYCHEL!

Raychle's peformances

No matter how hard I would look I could
never find better friends for Raychel!
Raychel and Sydney have been friends since we
moved here, Raychel was 18 months old,
these two like their sisters, will be
forever friends!!

This year the Spring Rectal also included
the performance of Tarzan. It was 3 long days of
performances. They had the recital, then the Tarzan
performances. Raychel got pretty sick the first night,
she would come off stage and just cry, she had a
headache, she was dizzy and her stomach hurt,
every time I told her I would take her home, but
she would cry harder that she needed to stay, her
classes were counting on her. She stayed and danced her
heart out, she was beautiful!! Once she got home she was
up sick the whole night!!
The next night I didn't even let her get near the stage! She
wasn't very happy with me, but she was still very sick.
The last day, I let her dance. She was exhausted the
rest of the weekend!

For the past 3 years these two have been
in dance together. Jolene is younger
then Jordon but does her best to keep up!!

A serious face is a concentrating face!!

Jolene's class did two dances which meant lots
of moves to remember! They did great!

A cute little class photo!
I am so in love with this little girl!
Another little class shot.

Happy 10th Birthday

Happy 10th Birthday!!

Another year has come and gone. I can't believe Raychel
is 10!! Where has the time gone?
Today was a VERY crazy day. First golf in the morning then
dress rehearsal for the dance recital.
This time of year is the Spring Dance Recital, which
means lots of dress rehearsals and then the weekend
of performances. This year was no different.
They had 2 studio rehearsals and then the main dress
rehearsal at the middle school. Well, the main
dress rehearsal fell on Raychel's birthday this year!!

She opened one of her presents from Jolene
before we had to get dresses and spend the
day at the school.

Golf Time

School is offically out when golf lessons start!!
Last summer Raychel out grew her golf clubs, so this
year Ward had to get her a new set for her birthday, but
gave them to her a day early, in time for her
golf class. She loves them, and they are PINK!!
(Sorry not the greatest pictures, forgot my camera,
these are with my phone and it was really cloudy)

They separated into two groups,
one chips while the others get
to go to the driving range.

This is her favorite, using her driver!!

She is really getting good at hitting it

straight, and far. Soon she will be out

with Ward and making it though
all 18 holes.
