~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

~Seven Brides For Seven Brothers

We went to the Hight School Drama
Presentation tonight of
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
They all did such a great job.  It wasn't
Broadway, but it was still a great play
with hard working students having fun.

~Update

Trying to pick the color for the family room, kitchen and
dining room.  It is safe to say these three...
LOST!
Now to start again.

~Sick Days

Poor Raychel has been to the Doctor three
times in three weeks.  She  had a bad cold,
a sinus infection, now not just the sinus
infection but a serious sinus infection with
major blockage in her ears.  Poor girl is
miserable.  I sure hope this new prescription
starts working fast!

~Country Life

The new and old.
A new bright red barn.
I love the way
barns look so big,
bright and welcoming.
It's the country life.
Then just down the road is an old
worn out farm home. I can't help
wondering what is the
story behind the home.
Who lived there?
Where are they now?
How long did they live there?
How many lived in small home?
Why did they leave?
How did they leave?
What will happen to the old home now?

~Winter Trees

Today after I dropped the girls off at school I wasn't ready to go home.
It was a warm day considering the time of year, so I headed over to walk
around the pond.  It was so peaceful.  The only sound were the two geese
crossing the ice.  They were having their won conversation and didn't even
notice where I was. The trees are so bare and scary looking against the
overcast sky.  It was a perfect day to take pictures and think.

~CHSSA Solo and Ensemble Festival Practice

Hannah talked Raychel into doing the Ensemble Festival this year.
I am so glad.  I have wanted her to do this for the past few years but she
was afraid to do it alone and didn't know who to do it with her.  She wasn't
sure what the judges would say and didn't want to be alone if they said
she wasn't good enough.  These two girls are equally matched.  They
will do amazing together, they practice every chance they get, whether at
home or when they come in after lunch.
 They want to do well.

~Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!
We had to do the heart hair do again this year.  One day
she will tell me she is to old for it so until then I will
take advantage of today.
I found a new recipe for a Cherry Chocolate pie, it
turned out pretty good, but not a keeper for us.
The girls enjoyed today with a school dance and
friends over for the nights so we will celebrate
tomorrow night with a movie and dinner.

~Roses

Valentine's Day is tomorrow but Ward came home with a beautiful
bouquet of roses today.  When I asked him why he said so I could
surprise you today and you can enjoy them tomorrow.
The colors are so beautiful.
I love this man.
He makes me so happy!

~Tired

Raychel came home from school today with a headache and just not
feeling well.  She ended up falling asleep instead of finishing her
homework.  I love how Ella joined in on the nap.

~Mother/Daughter

Jolene wasn't feeling well today and ended up staying
home from school.  I took full advantage of
all the snuggle time we had.

~Sleep Over

2 + 2 = Fun!
When these 4 get together the laughter is nonstop!
They laughed, giggled, made pizza, ate most of the cheese, made
brownies, played wii dance, more laughter, jokes, teasing, tattling,
and of course, great memories were made.

~Rifle Falls

What a cold great day.  I took the girls and two  friends to
Rifle Falls.  The Falls are so beautiful when they are frozen.
There was so much to explore even with the snow covering.
We wondered around for a couple of hours hiking around and
enjoying the cold.  By the time we got done exploring we
were frozen.  Once we got home we heated up with
hot chocolate and marshmallows.
