Grandma Illa Rae & the Girls

It's been over a year since Grandma Illa Rae and George were

here. They couldn't believe how tall the girls have gotten

and of course how grown up!! We were really glad

they came for a visit. Hopefully the next visit

wont take as long to get here!!Thanks for coming to see us! We love and miss you both!

Visitors

Ward's mom and George came for a visit. They spent

the first part of the week with Sterling's

family then ended the week with us.

We all got together for dinner at Sterling's one

night. The cousins had a great time together.

Austin and Collin got out the potato gun!!

WOW!! I have never seen potatoes fly before!

The little girl cousins and Eli had a great time just hanging out together!!

Bananas

We had a great day with friends. We loaded up in their car, drove the hour for lunch, very little shopping, played at Kidz Plex, then off to Bananas for some bumper boats!! The kids had a blast. It was a great way to end a very hot day!! Thanks for the play day!!

Tarantula

The girls got to hold Rosie, the tarantula.
They said she was soft and light.
I took their word for it!!

Our library has a great summer reading

program where they get different groups

to put on programs to entertain the

kids one day a week. Two

weeks ago they gave the kids a great

opportunity to see and hold

some interesting

creatures!!

More Golf!

Great Form!

The last session of golf came to an end.

Raychel continues to love golf, each day her

swing got better and stronger. I am asked

over and over, "what does Jolene do

for the hour while Raychel is golfing?"

Entertains the both of us!!

Ward came home from work with a

Water Fun

When the Colorado River was running it's highest from

the winter snow melt the kayaks had a blast!!

and a surfer!!

It was fun to watch these people ride the waves!!

Pet Peeve

Here is my biggest pet peeve!!

The Shoe basket!!

It's the first thing you see when you come in

the garage door. I did have the girls

go through it after the picture and clean

out the winter shoes, to small shoes, and the

"I wont wear shoes." It looks better

but will always be my

Pet Peeve!!

Happy 4th of July~part 2

Happy 4th of July

After the parade we got ready for several different families to come over to BBQ, swim, visit and watch the fireworks. It was a great time. The kids had a great time swimming, and going on the slip and slide. And of course us parents had fun watching them. It was a really great day with our friends. It really was nice to visit and get to know each other better, to strength friendships, and enjoy the freedoms of our country.

The kids had a great time watching all the different fireworks put on in front of the
house. Rick did a great job keeping them going, right up to the sparklers.

After our own personal show we enjoyed the ones put on by the city.

Jolene has been taking a little cheer leading

camp this summer and loving it!!

All the little girls got to be in the

4th of July Parade!! Well, the parade

was the scouts carrying the flag, the

cheerleaders and a few kids on bikes!!

She had a great time!!

Monster Truck

We saw this huge Monster Truck in the Wal-mart parking lot. The girls said "that truck is a blog!" Jolene thought it was cool she could walk under the truck!!

According to Raychel, "the only reason guys

drive monster trucks is to pick up chicks!"
