~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

Rest In Peace

We knew the day was coming,
we just didn't know when.
Our beautiful black lab, Cammie,
that we have had for 11 years past away
January 5, 2010,
she was just over 13 years old.

She was a great dog, wonderful with the girls.
I think both of them at about 3 years old
said Cammie was a pony, dressed in their
overalls and cowgirl hat, would
put her on a rope
leash and lead her around the yard
wanting so badly to "ride" her

and after being told to
"get off the DOG"

with tears in their eyes would

walk along side her saying

"giddy up!"

She dug up many of my bulbs,
she dug up the ground around the lilac bush until it died,
she was always the first in the swimming pool,
she was famous for stealing food from Jolene,
She loved to go on walks,
runs,
chase after bumpers,
and she
was an amazing hunting dog.

She will be greatly missed!!

Heartfelt thoughts... We sure miss our pooch, after 16 years growing up with our kids she was a part of the family - and lots of memories still make us smile. Love you guys!
