~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

Cozy

Even Ella wants to be warm.
It has been so cold with so much
snow and dark cloudy days.
Ella crawled under this blanket then
crawled out just enough to stay under the blanket to get warm.

Enough!

The first time I ever saw this I thought it was the craziest thing!
What you don't see is the dump truck at the end of the
street this front end loader puts the snow into.  The
side of the streets are so full of snow it is hard to drive past another
car.  These front end loaders go through neighborhoods
removing the large piles of snow, usually just in time for
the next major snow fall.

More Snow!

Yep, more snow!
Just when we thought we had enough,
it snowed again!
I can't believe how much snow has fallen in
a very short amount of time.

~Winter Trees

Today after I dropped the girls off at school I wasn't ready to go home.
It was a warm day considering the time of year, so I headed over to walk
around the pond.  It was so peaceful.  The only sound were the two geese
crossing the ice.  They were having their won conversation and didn't even
notice where I was. The trees are so bare and scary looking against the
overcast sky.  It was a perfect day to take pictures and think.
