~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

Christmas Morning

I LOVE Christmas morning!!!
The anticipation is overwhelming!! I can't
wait for the girls to wake up and come downstairs to see
all that Santa left and the gifts that were bought with love
and care for each one. I love being able to reflect on the
greatest gift, the gift of our Saviors love.

Lots of hours of cutting, sewing and snipping were
put into the two rag quilts I made for the girls.
Every year I try to make them something they can
have forever that will mean more to them the older they get.
This year not only did I make them the quilts but pj pants for them
and their favorite dolls and an aprons for them and their favorite dolls.
From this reaction of hugging the quilts makes it so worthwhile!
