~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

FHE

What a great Sunday.
We came home from church and snacked on great snack food,
hung out, watched a movie together and them made
homemade chocolate chip cookies with mini M&M's
for our refreshment after FHE which Raychel was in charge of.
Raychel did an amazing job on her FHE.
When she went to Achievement Days they
talked about the Apostasy
(turning away from the gospel principals)
and the restored gospel. She had great visuals on
how the church is set up, without one you can't have the other
and how important it is to have the priesthood on the earth
(Authority to act in Gods name).
That the church is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ
when he was on the earth. When she ended she closed
with her testimony.
It was so beautiful, sweet and real.
It was touching to hear how she feels about our
Savior and his church.

I have seen that lesson before and what a great FHE lesson. We all need to be reminded about how easy it is for the chruch to fall apart. The cookies look wonderful...mmmmmm!!!
