~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

~Christmas Eve~

It wouldn't be Christmas Eve without an early morning hunt!! Ward was able to go hunting this morning with several friends and had great success! I love when he comes home and tells us all about it, I love to hear the excited in his voice as he talks and the twinkle in his eyes as he remembers.
The day was wonderful, lazy, relaxed, lots of food, resting, laughing, moving watching, skyping with family, and of course opening the Christmas Eve pajamas and ended with the traditional sleepover!!

~Christmas Eve~

What a great Christmas Eve!
We had such a quiet nice day. We were so happy
when we found out Ward was going to have the day off.
He went bird hunting in the morning the
we hung out all day together!
It was perfect!
We played games,
the wii,
ate lots of great snacks,
we watched movies,
and then when it was dark enough we drove around
town and looked at all the lights!
There were some great looking decorations around town.
When we got home the girls got to open one gift.
Jolene was so excited for us to open her gift she made us from school.
It is a really cute little ornament with her picture in the middle.
She was so proud of it!
I love the cute little homemade project the
kids make in school.

I had to add our home.
I love the way our home looks outside looking
in at Christmas time.
It looks so homey, warm and inviting. The
look from the outside is only a part of
what the feelings are inside. I love having
people over and how they say they love the feel of our
home, they love the happiness, the love, and the friendship
they find within our walls.
