~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

~Dressed Up

Today is a special day.  Both the girls looked
so pretty this morning.
Jolene has class pictures today so she dressed
up nice for that.  Raychel is headed out of
town for band competition this afternoon and had to
wear black and white.  She felt it was kind of boring so
she added the scarf for a pop of color.
Band competition went great they earned a 2!!

Picture Day

I love my life.
I love my 'job."
How can I not love my life when this little person
is part of it? She says she loves me every time she
leaves or enters a room, she hugs and kisses me
every chance she can, she leaves me
notes around the house to find when she's not around, she
sings or hums all the time, and she has an amazing laugh
and a beautiful smile that warms my heart.
Today is school picture day, she has know for a few days
what she wanted to wear and how she wanted her hair. She is
growing up so fast. She couldn't wait to get her picture taken
outside like I did for Raychel. As I looked at her through my camera
lens I had a flash back at all the pictures I have taken of her over
the past 7 years and how fast she has grown and what a
beauty she truly is.

Picture Day

While we were in Utah we did some back to school shopping
with the girls. It was great fun, not only was it us girls but
we were lucky enough to beable to have my sister-in-law,
Katie and her son Jimmy with us.
In and out of shops we went, looking, and trying on
different outfits. It was so fun to watch the girls try on
different outfits and strike a pose and ask
"how do I look?"
We laughed so hard.

Last night Raychel asked me to get her up a
little bit earlier so we would
have time to do her hair, and she could make the
final choice in her outfit.
She made a great choice, she looks beautiful.

After we finished her hair she went in to get dressed and
then came downstairs. I just
looked at her and could only smile.
She looked beautiful.
She looked so grown up, she looked
so confident and ready for the day. She is
more then just a girl, she is becoming a
young woman more and more every day.

Every day I look at
her and think "I want to be like her!"
Kind, loving, compassionate,
sincere, friendly, happy, smart, beautiful,
and wise beyond her years.
