"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

Bye Baby Chick

It was a sad day at preschool. The next time Jolene
goes to school the baby chicks will be at their new
home. Jolene had this great plan to bring her favorite
little black chick home. It would live in a gerbil cage,
we would buy it chicken food and have an animal
water bottle in case it got thirsty. Then when it got
to big we would take it to a farm. She was convinced
this would work. It was so hard to tell her no. Of course
I don't want a chicken, but it really broke her heart to
say good bye. Ms. Debbie said she had really become
a "mother hen" to that one chick. After the tears we
got some great pictures of the little chick and her holding it.

how sad, that's too cute. jordan's been on a bird kick lately, yesterday she wanted to go outside and catch a bird and keep it in a box for a pet. it's so sweet how they just want to be little moms!
