~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

Love Notes

Last year the girls had been asking for dry
eraser boards but they wanted them on the HUGE
scale for their walls to play school easier. Well, that
wasn't going to happen so we found these cute
smaller ones. Jolene uses her all the time. She will write
her "to do list" on it, do math, practice her spelling and
anything else she can come up with. Last week I made
my own "to do list" for her to take care of in her room, she wrote
back that she was done and what else did I need for her to do.
Then of course I wrote my note back and it has gone on and on.
She leaves me a note to read when I come check on her before I
go to bed, I leave her a note to read when she gets up, she leaves me one
to read after she goes to school, I leave her one to read after school, and of
course the one before bed. It has been fun leaving and receiving notes, I
look forward to the next one. Then one night when we went to bed
we found the one on our bed. I love the sneaky idea behind leaving
love notes to be found.
How can you not smile when you receive a love note?
