Great Grand Neice

My nephew Christopher and his wife Amanda had a 

sweet little girl on January 24.  Her name is

Lilly Louise, Weighing 7 lb 9 oz. 20 in long.

What a wonderful reason to make a quilt! 

I love to sew and make new things.  When the

girls and I found this material I had to buy it not knowing

for who. I only wish we all lived closer so I could

snuggle her in her new blanket.

Our friends had a little baby boy and we got to spoil his big sister for several days while he came into the world. One of our gifts to him was a little rag quilt. We had a great time making it as well as watching his sister. They are a great family who are more them friends to us! His sister couldn't get over the bugs all over his blanket!

Baby Gift

I made this cute little quilt for my newest nephew Britton.  It think it turned out perfectly.  The girls and I had a fun time picking out the polka dot flannel.  I wish I could be there when my sister opens the box and wraps her sweet baby in it.
