~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

Wont be left behind

What is it about the second child, why do they have
to grow up so fast to keep up with the first child?
Well, since Raychel is learning to sew, and doing very well,
Jolene wanted to know when was it her turn?!
Now is as good as any!!
She started learning over Spring Break,
she's not tall enough to reach the foot peddle,
but she can hold the fabric in a straight line!!

Just a little guidance can really go a long way....

Both girls wore the skirts they made over
Spring Break to church. I remember making a
few items of clothing with the guidance of my mom,
but wasn't as happy with the results enough to wear it,
I'm glad my girls are proud of the hard work they have
done and want to show it off!!

Now that is awesome!!! You are so sweet and patient! This inspires me to give in to my girls' pleading to teach them to sew.

Way to go girls!!! That is one talent that will serve you well throughout your life. Use it often and the talent will grow with you. Good goin' Mom for helping them to learn a talent that is fast becoming a lost art!!
