~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

~A Day In The Life~

While my parents were in town we headed to Aspen to see Ward and what he was up to at work. He has started a new remodel job in downtown Aspen. He was so busy, with so much going on. There were lots of workers around, a jackhammer tearing up the cement in the basement, a little bobcat loading a dumpster then being lifted out of the basement by way of a crane! It was so fun to see all the excited of a new job. It was fun for the girls and I to watch all the action and work being done. It was great to hear all that will be done in the year. It is hard to believe they can completely remodel this two story building and add a penthouse on top. With an amazing view from the top of the building which will be the view for the people who will be living their by the end of the year. The energy was alive, so much going on, very little time to stop and visit. We spent time in Ward's office out of the noise and cold but still able to watch all that was going on. We were able to see the final product from all the drawings on the walls. It will be fun not only to watch but hear all that is going to transform this building!
