~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

Not as planned

Not the Christmas Eve we had planned.
I truly love this man I married,
he works so hard he gives everything
he does everything he has. He had to work on
Christmas Eve this year he gave his word and he honored it.
He got home much later then expected as he walked in
the door he looked more upset about the time
then we were. We had the blanket on the floor,
a movie ready to play and bowls of our favorite
Christmas Eve munchies ready to be munched.
He sat on the floor with the girls on either side
of him and you could literally see the stress leave his face.
He was home and he was welcomed there!
We made sure the stockings were hung with care. The traditional sister sleep over was finally
under way!! (Notice Ella was not going
to be left out of the girls night!)

The first look at what Santa had left for Jolene!
The begged for clothes for baby Jolee laid nice
on the floor waiting to be worn by the favorite baby.

Santa had left wonderful gifts for Raychel as well.
The American Girl Doll anxiously waited for the
sun to come up so she could be well loved,
Thank you Santa for all your hard work to
make dreams come true and the
Christmas Spirit even stronger.
