~My Reason For Our Blog~
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences." — Gordon B. Hinckley

The End

This morning after we took Raychel to school
there was time to walk Jolene to school. It is something
we love to do, walk. We would walk everywhere if
I wasn't always late! Anyway, as we walked I
noticed we could see our breath! We both thought it
was chilly this morning but to see our breath?
We also smelt then saw smoke coming from
the nearby chimney. After
I dropped her off at school I went on my
own walk and took the long way home. It was a
beautiful morning, the sky was so blue with a few
fluffy white clouds floating around, then I noticed on
the roof tops in the shade there was frost on them.
As I was walking toward my own home I notice the lonely
bright red rose in the flower bed along side a lonely daisy.
It made me kind of sad to think this season of our life is over,
what will the next season bring? I then had to smile because of
all the great summer memories came rushing back, these
are the last ones who will bloom before the frost really sets in and
snow begins to fall. I couldn't help but
think about a few of the things I am most
grateful for:
My little family,
my flowers,
the warm weather,
the beauty
of the earth that is so alive as the seasons are changing.
I am grateful that God created this world.

I was afraid you were going to say that you are ending your blog. So glad that wasn't the case. I can't believe that winter will be here soon. I like the temps in the 70's and 80's. Not in the 30's. It's too cold then. Keep blogging!
